NEWS & UPDATES
Our very first Intergalactic Fat Bike Ride - a Global Fat Bike Day Event is officially in the books - and what a way to kick things off! 65 riders registered, showed up, bundled up, and rolled out with us to celebrate Global Fat Bike Day on some cold, snowy, joy-filled Cuyuna trails.
We’ve seen things our cameras and eyes can’t unsee.
The Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Crew needs your help to fund a seasonal porta potty at the 128 Trailhead. Because everyone deserves a proper place to go, and our volunteers deserve a little less “evidence” to clean up after.
When the Cuyuna Lakes High School Mountain Bike Team grew to more than 80 riders, their old flimsy bike racks couldn’t keep up. The Crew stepped in with 13 brand-new, sturdy racks, thanks to the generous support of Crew sponsor All-Ways Painting, who donated their time and materials to make it happen. That’s community, taking care of each other and building the next generation of riders.
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of riding Back Country, Portal, Sinter, or Sledgehammer in the North Mahnomen Unit, then you know these trails are a bit out of the way from the majority of our other trails. Technical and absolutely stunning throughout the season, these trails really highlight what Cuyuna has to offer.
Cuyuna Fest 2025: Trails, Tunes, & a Legend Revealed
Cuyuna Fest was a blast! Thanks to everyone who showed up, bought raffle tickets, and shared the stoke. We raised $5,591.70 from the raffle alone, nearly $1,000 more than last year! Add in $2,000 from Wilde Bicycle Co.’s Midwest MTB Fest ticket donations, and together you helped bring in $7,591.70 for the Crew. That’s real trail impact, and it helps keep Cuyuna alive and thriving.
