The Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Trails are built and cared for by volunteers, with support from the Minnesota DNR on state-managed lands. From light maintenance to full trail rebuilds, the Crew helps keep the system rideable, safe, and fun year-round.

Whether you want to dig in at a workday or help out on your own when time allows, there are multiple ways to get involved.

No experience needed. All tools provided.
Minors welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

How you can help

Join a Scheduled Workday | Shovels hit the dirt every other Thursday

Bi-weekly and monthly Saturday seasonal workdays are a great way to learn trail care skills, meet other riders, and work alongside Crew leaders and the DNR.

Volunteer on Your Own Time

Not everyone can commit to a scheduled workday. That’s okay.

If you ride, hike, or recreate on Crew trails, you can help by observing issues, reporting concerns, and completing light, low-risk maintenance when appropriate.

This option is flexible, seasonal, and based on your availability. No assigned trail segments. No required hours.
