VOLUNTEER WITH THE CREW

The Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Trails are built and maintained by volunteers, with support from the Minnesota DNR on state-managed lands. From light maintenance to full trail rebuilds, the Crew helps keep the system safe, rideable, and fun year-round.

Getting involved with the Crew is straightforward. Just RSVP to one of our scheduled workdays listed on our event calendar, check in when you arrive onsite, and you’re officially part of the volunteer crew for the day!

How to Get Involved

Getting started is simple:

Whether you want to dig in at a workday or help out on your own
when time allows, there are multiple ways to get involved.

How you can help

Join a Scheduled Workday
Shovels hit the dirt every
other Thursday

Bi-weekly and monthly Saturday workdays are a great way to learn trail care, meet other riders, and work alongside Crew leaders and the DNR.

Want to stay involved? We’ll get you onboarded at a workday and add you to our Microsoft Teams channel for updates and coordination.

Volunteer on
Your Own Time

Can’t make a workday? No problem.

Help by riding, observing, and reporting issues. Or tackling light, low-risk maintenance when you can.

No set schedule. No assigned trails. Just show up when it works for you
