GALLOPING GOOSE 50
🪿50 miles. One trail.
You love to see it. The Galloping Goose 50 is back for 2026. Mass starts are hard to fit into busy schedules, so we built a challenge that works on yours.
From September 24 - October 25, it's just you and the Goose.
Ride 50 miles of Galloping Goose in a single calendar day.
Nothing more. Nothing less.
Bring friends or ride solo. Question your life choices somewhere around lap six.
Dumb? Maybe. Fun? Absolutely.
New this year: Ride for the trails
Want to make your questionable decisions count for more? New for 2026, GG50 riders can choose to turn their ride into a fundraiser for the Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Crew.
Join the pledge, share it with friends and family, and raise money for the trails while you take on 50 miles of Galloping Goose.
Supporters can make a flat donation or pledge an amount per lap.
Fundraising is completely optional and is not required to take on the GG50 or earn a finisher shirt.
But, for those who decide to go for it, the GG50 rider who raises the most money for the Crew will win a prize. Prize TBD. It will be cool.
Every dollar raised helps the Crew maintain trails, support volunteers, purchase tools and equipment, and continue caring for the Cuyuna Lakes Mountain Bike Trail System.
Already riding Galloping Goose over and over again? Might as well make it count.
FINISHED? PROVE IT.
You did the miles. Now send us the receipts. Complete the GG50 Finisher Submission Form (coming soon) and upload your ride screenshot or link.
Once your ride is submitted and verified, you'll receive a link to order your 2026 GG50 finisher shirt.
Choose local pickup and your shirt will be ready at the Crew's End-of-Season Celebration on October 24, or choose to have it shipped directly to you.
The 2026 GG50 Challenge ends October 24.
SHIRT PICKUP & END OF SEASON CELEBRATION
We're wrapping up the season with the Crew's End-of-Season Volunteer Celebration and GG50 shirt pickup on Saturday, October 24.
GG50 riders, Crew volunteers, and the people who help keep Cuyuna rolling are invited to come hang out, celebrate the season, and swap stories from lap six and beyond.
Volunteer recognition. A few prizes. Good people.
More details coming soon.
