2026 Minnesota Fishing Weekend Opener

Minnesota Fishing Opener takes place this weekend, May 9, and includes the trout opener on the Mine Lakes. A valid fishing license and trout stamp are required to fish on designated trout lakes. Minnows are not allowed for bait.

For licenses, bait, and additional details, visit Crew sponsor Oars-N-Mine Bait Shop, located a half mile north of the four-way stop on Highway 6 as you’re headed north to Emily.

Parking Notice at the Rally Center: Boat landing parking spaces in the CCSRA are reserved for vehicles with boat trailers only. Vehicles parked in trailer-only spaces may be ticketed.
