This is it. It’s the last organized Saturday trail workday of the season! Let’s end it on a high note and high fives.
Join the Crew for our last once-a-month Saturday trail workday focused on maintaining and improving Cuyuna-area trails in partnership with the DNR! This week we will be meeting at Yawkey Unit to address dirt work needs and corridor clearing. Afterwards, plan to hang out for a bit of trail magic. RSVP Required - Below.
Locations rotate throughout the season and projects range from corridor clearing to tread work and event prep. Tools provided. No experience needed.
Schedule:
10 - 10:30 am | Training (for new volunteers) + prep (for experienced volunteers)
10:30 am -12 pm | Trail work
12-12:30 pm | Lunch break. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunches
12:30 - 2 pm | 2nd work session
Optional group ride or trailside happy hour after
What to bring:
Tools (if you have trail tools you prefer)
Full, refillable water bottle
Bug spray
Close-toed shoes
Long pants - no leggings
What to Expect + Registration
A variety of trail maintenance tasks from berm rework, corridor clearing, treadway rebuilds, tamping, pruning, weed whipping, raking, drain cutting, etc.
Teams of 3 - 5 volunteers
Tools provided by the Crew
Look for crew shirts when you arrive
